Typically applied in double-layered coatings: Osprovit® V is a hydroxyapatite coating sprayed under vacuum onto a previously deposited titanium coating. This application combines the bioactive performance of HAP with the long-term mechanical stability of porous titanium.
Crystallinity ratio, Ca/P rate, Foreign phases, Heavy Metal content and Adhesive Strength are in compliance with ISO 13779 requirements.
A consideravke amount of biological evidence is available to further confirm optimal biocompatibility as well as long-termm clinical efficacy.
